Habiba Farzand is a Research Associate at REPHRAIN, University of Bristol. Her research lies at the intersection of privacy, security, and interaction with technology. She specializes in research methods in HCI and uses them to identify and propose solutions to users’ privacy and security concerns. She has a track record of publications at multiple top conferences such as ACM CHI, IJHCI, and alike. She also regularly serves on program committees, such as ACM CHI and SOUPS. She plays an active role in the organization of conferences, for example, she was Assistant General Chair for ACM Augmented Humans 2023 and Visa Chair for ACM ETRA 2024
