Josie Curtis

Josie is a Policy Engagement Associate within the core team of REPHRAIN. Previously, she worked as a Coordinator Intern between REPHRAIN and PolicyBristol, an experience which provided her with key skills in writing policy briefs, creating stakeholder engagement plans, and responding to government consultations. A highlight of this role was her coordination of REPHRAIN’s response to Ofcom’s consultation on Protecting Children from Harms Online

She is especially interested in health policy and, in particular, inequalities in terms of data privacy and access to digital health services.

Alongside her internship, Josie recently completed a Masters in Public Policy at the University of Bristol, with a dissertation focused on ultra-processed food consumption pertaining to different social groups in Scotland.

She also holds an undergraduate degree in History (University of Edinburgh, 2022).
