Paraskevi Triantafyllopoulou

Dr Triantafyllopoulou has been working with people with intellectual disabilities and autistic individuals since 2006 and her research is mainly focused on health and social care. She is a Senior Lecturer at the Tizard Centre in University of Kent and was the recipient of the Innovations Award (2023) in University of Kent for her work on online safety with people with intellectual disabilities and her work with the Kent and Medway Medical School.

Dr Triantafyllopoulou is currently the Director of Studies for the postgraduate programmes Intellectual Disabilities & Autism at the Tizard Centre and the principal investigator in multiple funded research projects including the Safer Online Lives- Internet Use and Safety for People with Intellectual Disabilities project.
